and Do you think Walmart's (WMT) earnings will be better or worse than expected on Thur?  Im worried bc wmt stopped reporting monthly sales a few months back (why??) and so i don’t know what to expect., more

and I need help choosing my career. What path should I take…?  I’m a senior in high school and my main goal is to become a successful real estate developer. However, in order to do that I need to have a good job and save up. I’m not exactly sure WHAT TO MAJOR FOR MY BACHELOR’S DEGREE. I’m really good in math (always been at the top of my class), physics, and chemistry.
My question is WHAT SHOULD I MAJOR IN FOR MY BACHELORS DEGREE THAT WOULD GIVE ME A GOOD JOB (one that I enjoy doing, make a lot of money, have great job market, and flexible, in terms of hours) while I can get my “Masters In Real Estate Development” degree and save up money to invest on real estate.
I’m thinking about Bachelors in Business Administration (concentration in Accounting), Nursing, or Engineering.
What’s your advice?, more

Is cash for clunkers actually working?  I haven’t seen a new car on the road yet!!! Have you? And I don’t know 1 person who has benefited from the program do you??!!
I bet the people in people in the car industry are somehow getting a hold of old cars and getting the government funds for themselves. What a disappointment these programs are when you probably have a lot of corrupt people taking the government funding somehow through the backdoor. Where do you think the money is going?, more

and Commodity/Equity/FOREX/Bond Trading Internships (NYC/DENVER) to look for next summer?  I’m a sophomore in college (CU-Boulder), majoring in quant finance. I have a nice sales background on my resume, and am moderately involved in the Entrepreneurship and Investment Club at school. I’m EXTREMELY interested in becoming a trader when I graduate and want to get a trading internship next summer. Does anyone know of any good programs/internships? And on top of that any advice on a path to getting a good trading job out of college?, more

and What is the best way to make money with $100,000?  To be blunt I have gotten a decent sum of money. After getting the family new house, car etc. We will have a good bit left over to make money off of. I am not looking to get rich fast or anything, but looking for something where I can get a decent interest check monthly or quarterly. If that is not possible (as I am finding out) I still can use the best option for some kind of growth.
There are so many options out there it is hard to find the best deal. I have been going all over town where we live speaking with everyone who says their plan is the best.
If you can help with input on which of these are best or anything I might be able to look into that I have not please let me know. Thanks
Stocks – Seem more like a big gamble right now due to the economy
Mutual Funds – Seems to be my best bet so far, fairly safe and steady growth
Annuity – Doesn’t seem practical right now since the money is normally locked up til your 59ish. (i am 30 right now by the way)
Life and Viatical settlements – Seem morally wrong to me so I would not do those.
CD’s – Have no intrest rate right now, might get about 1.5%
Savings Account – Close to CD looking at only 1%, more
